What is a Self Proving Affidavit?
A Self Proving Affidavit is a form in which the person making the will and his/her witnesses swear under oath (usually before a notary public) that they have signed and witnessed the will. Note: The Affidavit is an additional document attached to your will. You and your witnesses still need to sign and witness the will document itself.
